About Your Trip
Your trip begins with meeting your guide at a defined location on your river of choice.
All Kenai River trips are performed in a North River sled boat with a 50hp Yamaha outboard motor. All fishing equipment, tackle and waders are provided for your day on the water.
We use a combination of Fly Fishing, Conventional and Spin Fishing to pursue these majestic fish.
Whether fishing for King Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, Silver Salmon or Trophy Rainbow Trout you are sure to have a great time on the water!!
We will frequently encounter Alaskan wildlife throughout the day like Moose, Bald Eagles, River otters, Sea Lions, an occasional Bear and of course BIG FISH so bring your camera!
I offer full day (8hr) & half day (5hr) shared boat or private boat trips so you choose the trip that is right for you.
With over 24 years experience as a full time fishing guide I will provide you with a fun & successful day on the river.
The Kenai River is a glacial fed system with it’s headwaters in the beautiful Kenai Mountain Range. Just being on the river is a memorable experience in itself. It’s stunning color and impressive volume is sure to amaze you!
You can expect lots of action during peak seasons as the Kenai River boasts some of the largest Salmon runs and biggest Rainbow Trout in the world!
At the end of your day I will fillet your catch to be taken to the local processor for vacuum sealing and freezing for your travels home.
